Ralph Gibson photographs a variety of subjects, but his work with portraits of women and semi-nudes is what I find most inspiring for my project. The high contrast really works in his favor, and his photos of different elements of the human body are one of the main inspirations I've taken away from his body of work.
Many of his photos are very sexual and/or sex based. This aspect helps gives perspective of what I find too sexual for my own project and is helping differentiate his work from what I am trying to convey.
