Carrie Mae Weems Exhibition by Olivia Duvall

The Guggenheim Museum in New York City is currently exhibiting the work of Carrie Mae Weems. Weems is artist whose works focus on the subjects of race, gender, and race and give a better understanding of history and identity of African Americans. She  The exhibition features pieces of her work over the past thirty years and include photographs, audio recordings, and videos. The exhibition is currently on display until May 14, 2014 but you can see most of her work on her own website.
