Focal Press Bound to Create Contest - Jimmie

 

For 75 years Focal has published content supporting your creative goals. As part of our anniversary celebration this year, we'd love to hear how we've helped you create in some way. You can share how Focal Press has helped you create by participating in our Bound to Create promotion.

Here's how it works:

We'll simply ask you to share a story of how Focal Press has helped you create in some meaningful way.

Optionally, you may wish to upload an image/video/document/file (or link to a relevant URL) that illustrates what you created.

A panel of judges likely selected from previous winners and/or judges of the prestigious Kraszna-Krausz Book Awards (the Kraszna-Krausz Foundation was created by Focal Press founder Andor Kraszna-Krausz) will select a shortlist of five and one winner at the end 2013. The award criteria will be the creativity demonstrated in the story provided and 2) if submitted, the quality and innovation of the work.

Please note: every individual may enter this contest up to one time per month. So if the contest runs from March 2013 to December 2013, anyone can enter up to ten times. We realize many of our customers have multiple stories of how we might have helped them create, so we don't want to limit anyone to just one submission.

Here are the prizes:

At the end of the year, a panel of judges will pick one winner who will win $2500 USD and be awarded the "I am Bound to Create" winner's plaque.

Also, once a month, we will choose a randomly selected winner of $100 worth of Focal Press books for anyone who posts about this promotion on Twitter or Facebook.
