Mike Brodie // by Meighan Walsh

In 2003 at the age of 18 Mike Brodie set off from his home in Florida to go on an adventure, Kerouac style. One year later and with no prior training in photography "The Polaroid Kidd" began to capture scenes of daily life on the rails. Despite the moniker, all scenes in his book A Period of Juvenile Prosperity were shot with a Nikon F3 35mm camera.
