Since discussing the process in which Paul Shambroom utilizes in creating his photographs of government meetings, I came across Pelle Cass's Selected People. It appears that he uses a similar approach, although the number of people that appear in his photographs is much higher and leads to some interesting and complex arrangements.
From his artist statement, "The work both orders the world and exaggerates the chaos. With the camera on a tripod, I take many dozens of pictures and simply leave the figures I choose and omit the rest (in photoshop). Nothing has been changed, only selected. Above all, my work shows a surprising world that is only visible with a camera."
