HOW TO: Create and use your own pinhole camera
A pinhole camera is a small, light-tight can or box with a black interior and a tiny hole in the center of one end. By using common household materials, you can make a camera that will produce pictures.
You can make a camera out of anything. All pinhole cameras take is a bit of patience, and high spirits. The results are often distorted, and always a surprise. All you need is to create a light tight vessel, have a pin sized hole covered by tape or paper to act as a shutter, and a steady surface. Remove the tape for the desired exposure, and develop in a darkroom.
