I’ve been shooting in a lot of low light situations. I’ve
been photographing performers on stage. Its been really hard for me to get good
clear images of my subjects. They move around a lot, and aren’t
ever in consistent lighting. I’ve tried to use my built
in flash, but it was just giving me a foggy mess due to the smoke in my venue.
I got an adjustable flash that hooks on to my camera. With this new attachment I
can bounce the light off the celling or wall to light my subject with out
obstruction my image. But it wasn't easy to figure out how to make my camera and
flash work together. There are a lot of settings and switches you need to
change to get it to work properly. This video helped me out a lot.
